FOR AUTHORS
Juris Sinergi Journal (JSJ)
Juris Sinergi Journal (JSJ) maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and other forms of academic misconduct. All submitted manuscripts shall constitute original scholarly work, with proper acknowledgment of all sources, legal authorities, quotations, and research findings.
All manuscripts shall undergo similarity screening using Turnitin, iThenticate, or equivalent software prior to peer review and, where necessary, before publication.
The Journal establishes a maximum overall similarity index of 15%, with no more than 5% similarity attributable to any single source, following the exclusion of bibliographic references and appropriately cited quotations, subject to editorial verification.
Similarity arising from legislation, judicial decisions, standardized legal terminology, and other properly attributed legal materials shall be assessed in their scholarly and legal context.
Manuscripts exceeding the prescribed thresholds shall be subject to editorial assessment and may be returned for revision or rejected.
Any substantiated plagiarism may result in immediate rejection, regardless of the similarity score. Authors shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to respond to allegations of misconduct.
Where plagiarism is established after publication, the Journal may issue a correction, expression of concern, or retraction in accordance with applicable COPE guidance.
Authors shall be fully responsible for the originality and proper attribution of their manuscripts. A similarity score within the prescribed limits shall not constitute conclusive proof that a manuscript is free from plagiarism.
All editorial determinations shall be based on substantive academic assessment rather than similarity percentages alone.
